MUSICAL THEATRE SERVICES
From an idea to opening night.
Writing. Directing. Music direction. Production. Creative development.
Whether you have a theme and need an entire original musical—or already have a production that needs another creative set of eyes—Pamela can step in wherever the project needs her.
TELL PAMELA ABOUT YOUR PROJECT
Start with an idea. A script. A song. Or a problem that needs solving.
- A theme that needs to become an original musical
- A script or project that needs original music or songs
- An existing musical that needs development
- A production that needs directing or music direction
- Rehearsals that need experienced outside help
- A show that isn't quite working
- An idea that needs help becoming a complete production
Pamela can join you for one specific part of the process or become more broadly involved—from the first creative conversations through performance.
Broader creative and production direction can include staging ideas, set concepts, visual direction and production planning—helping your organization's own team understand how to execute the creative vision.
For larger engagements, Pamela can discuss broader hands-on production involvement as part of the overall project.
EXPERIENCE MEETS EDUCATION
Every child should leave rehearsal believing, “I can do this.”

Pamela has a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a minor in early childhood education. Her work as an educator and extensive experience with children in music and theatre shape the way she leads a rehearsal.
She has spent 35+ years creating and producing children's programming, choirs, Vacation Bible School programs, retreats and related experiences, and 20+ years writing and directing musical theatre for churches and schools.
Her approach is encouraging, energetic and fun while still moving the group toward a successful finished production.
She wants every child—not only the naturally confident performers—to feel capable and part of what is being created.
Sometimes it starts with nothing more than a theme.

A Weeklong Retreat
A church provided Pamela with the theme for a weeklong children's retreat. Pamela created the musical around that theme and traveled onsite to help turn it into a complete production.
Her involvement included rehearsals, directing, music, staging, production planning and creative direction. In projects like this, Pamela has arrived on Saturday and helped take a group all the way to performance by Thursday night.
Three Shows. One School Year.
A Christian school needed three original musicals in one year for different groups of students. Pamela collaborated with the school on the themes and age ranges, then created and delivered three shows designed specifically for those students.
Sometimes the collaboration happens from miles away. Sometimes Pamela comes to you.
Writing, composing, arranging, consulting and creative development can often be done remotely.
Pamela is also available to travel for appropriate projects when travel and onsite involvement are included in the scope of the engagement.
Her experience includes traveling to create, direct and produce children's programs and productions in Michigan, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Georgia.
Writing can happen from anywhere. Sometimes bringing the show to life means being in the room.

Tell me what you're creating.
Maybe you have a theme. Maybe you have a script. Maybe you're halfway through rehearsals and something isn't working. Or maybe all you have right now is an idea.
Tell Pamela where the project is—and where you'd like it to go.
