Full Synopsis
It's summertime and that means the campers are coming back to Camp Bull's Eye! Mrs. Butterbean, the camp director, and her trustee sidekick, Ms. Crumb, are ready and excited to welcome them at the camp kickoff meeting! They know the campers can't wait to participate in the much-anticipated Bull's Eye Color Games. Every color team wants to win so they can get the coveted Spirit Stick, a sign of teamwork, cooperation, hard work, and domination!
Every day at the crack of dawn, the Camp Bull's Eye Bullhorn morning announcements fill the air. Frankie & Dex, the announcers, run down the list of important items and let the campers know what the color game is for the day.
At the camp kickoff meeting, Ms. Crumb rushes to tell Mrs. Butterbean the Spirit Stick is missing and a clue was left in its place! The campers can't believe it. Mrs. Butterbean reads the clue and refocuses the kids, telling them they now need to work together to solve the missing Spirit Stick mystery, even while they compete in the color games. She reminds the kids of the Camp Bull's Eye Motto: "Look on high. Hit the Bull's Eye," and tells them to keep their eyes on Jesus no matter what!
The campers on the 4 color teams, Red, Blue, Orange, and Yellow, are befuddled. They just can't understand who would take their beloved Spirit Stick, a camp tradition for over 75 years! They have one clue, but it doesn't make much sense. Nevertheless, the games must go on.
As the games begin and the campers prepare to play Mega Water Balloon Toss, Conner from the blue team, finds another clue amongst the water balloons. He rushes to Mrs. Butterbean to give her the news. She gathers the campers and reads the clue aloud, but no one can understand how it relates to finding the Spirit Stick. Mrs. Butterbean and Ms. Crumb decide they will post the clues on the camp bulletin board for all to see and try to solve.
The games continue, and every day another clue is found, read, and posted on the bulletin board. The campers read the clues, discuss them, and try to figure out the whereabouts of their Spirit Stick, but to no avail. Frankie and Dex, of the Bull's Eye Bullhorn morning announcements, encourage the campers to work together to decode the clues.
On the last day of the color games, time is running out to find the Spirit Stick. A group of campers are looking at the bulletin board, talking about the clues. All of a sudden, they realize each clue has letters which are larger and stand out from all of the words. The campers think there may be clues within the clues and decide to write those letters on a separate sheet of paper. They promptly unscramble the letters and are led to the tug-o-war competition, the last of the color games. There, they find one more clue, which leads them to the Spirit Stick!
Everyone is thrilled! And then the truth emerges that it was Mrs. Butterbean who created the Spirit Stick hide-and-seek to bring her campers together. She decides for the first time in Camp Bull's Eye's history, every team is a winner, and all the kids will get the spirit stick. Everyone celebrates the historic win!
